The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
It's one of my favorite animes, just wondering who else liked/enjoyed it...

We are going as...
Tsuji: Haruhi Suzumiya (Cheerleader ver.)
Kyon: Mikuru Asahina (Punk lolita ver.)
Unfortunately we are very behind and don't have any pictures yet, but we will be sure to when we have some!

I have to ask though- is the Hare Hare Yukai considered a Para para? or is it something entirely different

Re: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
lol that is something TOTALLY different! XDDD
its a common mistake though~
usually gyarus do paraparas
in that dance they are school girls.
a parapara is a japanese dance that usually (not always) involves knocking your feet side to side...
that dance doesn't have any of that...other than the beginning.
and more generally, parapara consist of a constant and/or repetitive movement in the hands and/or feet~
the hare hare doesn't repeat any movements....
also, parapara has almost always have eroubeat or trance music,
the hare hare song is an opening theme to a show (i think ^^
the hare hare dace is just a (very popular) dance from and anime.
like any other dance.
only real similarity is the synchronization in the two types of dances, which even then is different~
hare hare has most the people doing different things most the time. in parapara it is rare for them to do separate moves.
but both so have some synchronization.
still it is something that is not uncommon to ask~
^o^~ i hope i help~
