Re: how to straighten hair!~
I use something like five different products to get my hair look nice XD
And they work when I want my hair to be and stay straight.
So you just have to but lots of stuff in your hair and then use a lot of hair spray XD I do that, and it works.
And when I wash my hair I use conditioner, so my hair wont fall of XD
But if nothing works your hair is just maybe that kind that it wont stay straight... 'Cause one of my friend has that kind of hair and she really uses every single product she can find to make her hair straight o.o
but I really think hair spray is the answer to every hairproblem XD

Re: how to straighten hair!~
may i ask what kind of straightener you use?
I agree with taiji, use hairspray like there is no tomorrow. Use hairspray with the 'freeze' gel in it or whatever its called. That's extra effective.
you're hair has to be bone dry when you straighten it or else it won't hold the straighten and it will get damaged pretty badlyD:
and turn the hair straightener on super high heat if you need to.
i hope i helped

Re: how to straighten hair!~
use it during or after, dont use it before or else your hair gets messed up (its happened to me.)
it smells really bad and...bad experience.
also, I've never used it, but I've heard positive things about a brand called biosilk. I read somewhere that it really helps hair stay striaght for a long time.

Re: how to straighten hair!~
I use the hairspray right after. If you're busy it is really slow to spray that hairspray once in a while to your hair,
so that's why I use it after my hair is ready to get hairsprayed XD
And Loreal and other brands like that have some products that should make your hair straight. I'm sorry I don't know the names of them...
You put it in your hair and straight it right after that or something like that. I've heard that works well too =)

i'm not quite sure myself haha
but i remember reading about it a few times and my hairstylist mentioning it to me when i had long hair.
i think they're like shampoo and conditioner that helps your hair maintain a style (tho i 'm not sure at all)
and yea, like taiji said, the loreal straightening stuff is supposed to work well ^^ my friend tried it and said it was pretty good.

Re: how to straighten hair!~
How big are the sections that you straighten at a time?
I read somewhere else that Sunsilk Anti-Poof leave-in conditioner helps keep hair straight.
Also, I think you mentioned in another thread that you have extensions. Maybe that's part of the problem?
have you straightened it lately? How long has it stayed straight?

hmmm....i cold make the sections smaller....that might work....
leave in conditioner? i'll try it!~
no i just clip them in, and i just got them, so they can't be it.
it depends on the weather and what not....but usually for like...an hour....>_>;;;

Re: how to straighten hair!~
On a rainy day nobodys hair stays staright. Also if it is windy I don't even try to get my hair look nice 'cause it won't stay like that...
And clip on extensions can be straighten or curled, cause one of my friends has clip ons and she can do whatever she likes to do to them.
But are your extensions real hair or not? 'Cause if they are something plastic fake hair then they won't work the same way than my friend's real hair extensions...
