I use lashes once in a great while because I have naturaly long lashes anyway. (and I hate messing with glue) I prefer lashes that are full and long, but not so full that they look like a blackout. Also, for days that I want to add a little length on the outside corners or to shape my eyes a little, I use the individual lashes. (The little clumps that are about 1 cm wide) On the very rare occasion that I do manba I have purple and silver lashes that I use on top and my black lashes on bottom. I really like to wait until holloween because, as previously said, that's when you can get loads of cool designs for really cheap.

I got my first falsies the other day, only worn them once so far though. Mine were Nyx, £4 and the criss-crossy ones^^

I get mine at beauty supply stores, either Sally's (I have a discount there) or local places. They tend to have the best selection and prices. I like Sassi (around $2.50), Ardell (around $3.50-$5.00), and NYX lashes (around $4.00). NYX lashes are pretty sturdy because they're synthetic, though Sassi and Ardell are more natural looking because they're made from human hair.

The glue that comes with NYX lashes is completely useless and Ardell lashes don't come with glue, so it's best to get your own. Ardell Lash Grip Adhesive is good. You'll also want to have a manicure scissors ready to cut the lashes down to better fit your eye.

I use fake lashes. :0000

The cheapest bad ones cost about 3 €. ^___^ these are from seppala or somewhere else like that place.. :3 They are not too great i tell you...
The normal good ones are almost 7 €. i think it is pretty cheap. :3
And the expensive ones are 14€. CX not too expensive i think.

Heh. I usually buy from micmac pink glittery ones for manba look, or from kicks black and long lashes, cos' i don't need them to be too bushy.
I mean i like the thickness of my original lashes. I just need the length... (-.-; )

If you care for them and keep them clean, you can wear them more than once (assuming you haven't used mascara on them.)

I use mascara on mine all the time and I'm able to get several uses out of them. I think it depends how you clean them. I use a lotion-style cleanser to lift the mascara and use tweezers to carefully pick off the old glue from the lash band. Once they're rinsed off and clean, I just put them back in their tray and let them dry.

Ah good to know. I wasn't speaking from personal experience on the mascara part, rather just repeating what a friend of mine had said. She'd said she had a lot of trouble when she tried to clean the mascara off hers and had to throw them away, so I made an assumption.

I wear falsies, but I cut them in half and use half on my top lid and the other half on my bottom. (The glue comes off easily near my tear ducts and the wearing the whole lash makes my eyes feel heavy >_<)
They're $5-10 pretty much anywhere, depending on what brand you get. Though I get mine all on sale during Halloween.;p

Your friend just needs to be gentle. No harsh cleansers or makeup removers! :333

You're welcome. I really like their #600-style lashes myself.

Very natural looking! The #42's look like lashes I've seen Tsubasa and Kumikki wear.
