- Blend
- Add colour
- Thinner nose stripe
- Less of the black
- You need colour in your hair, either dye it, wear a wig or put in extensions
- False eyelashes on top and bottom
Here's some pics for inspiration (I know some of these are borderline banba):

Re: My Manba Make. Tips?
i actually think that the darkness off your nose strip was fine before...but it was a little too wide. Which is better in the updated pictures.
Be careful when applying this type of make up. Because when you have a thin white make up its easy for it to look blotchy if you dont make sure to get on on thick and evenly. I know its hard to find in some stores but invest in WHITE make up. This is vital if you are going to be doing manba. The luna color can be used with banba make-up though...
Try online shops or halloween specality shops. They should have large amounts of white make-up on sale. If you dont want to throw out the cash now just wait until near the end and catch the sales on halloween make-up. Be careful though...some of it, even though it is white will be of bad quality and wont be worth it.

yeah, your whites a tad sheer, which is making it look uneven, find a good quality, thick formula for it and it'll be improved tenfold!

Re: My Manba Make. Tips?
Invest in a liquid eyeliner it helps with the lines of your black.
Contour your nose using a brow and dark brown.
To highlight your nose use a white eyeliner and then white eyeshadow.
Invest in makeup brush this will make your application of the white much easier.
Work on you application skills of make up before trying to go in manba/banba having the basics will help in the process of the make up. There is many people on youtube that can help you learn them, Petrilude, Xsparkage, panacea81, MichellePhan.

As YanYan said investing in a wig would be great or extensions something that will give you longer hair and volume. I am buying a wig from cosworx sometime soon, to style into manba hair. Going through cosplay tutorials/scene kid tutorials will help your figure out have to get large volume into the wig, and how to cut layers into the hair.

Re: My Manba Make. Tips?
mmm ok, actually i was using Halloween face-paint make-up for the white and eyeliner for the black. i'll look for a good make up brush to make the white more even. do you think perhaps using white eyeshadow in combinatin with the halloween make-up will be better? i couldn't really do much to the wig because i use it for other things, but i'm in the process of buying a good one this week. i've looked at quite a few tutorials, but i keep feeling like i'm failing epicly '^^ also, liquid eyeliner hates me
it always ends up inside my eye or somewhere it doesn't belong (example- my shirt, my cheek, in the middle of my white eyeshadow) and also, i did try highlighting my nose, but i'm not sure exactly how dark to go with the color. i used some concealer about one shade darker then my regular skin-tone. maybe i should try a couple more shades darker?
also- am i doing ANYTHING right? i feel kinda like i'm terrible at the moment. i thought i was doing decently before atleast but now not so much x..x

Re: My Manba Make. Tips?
You have to remember that everyone goes through this stage of developing their make up style that suits your face. You just have to practice continuously or you won't get better I don't try a style of make before practicing it and get better at it. Yes you have done things that are part of the manba stage but theres always ways of getting better. If you look at one of my manba makes in here its not the best but I keep practicing and keep trying to get better.
If you don't like liquid eyeliner invest in a gel eyeliner its just like a liquid eyeliner but you can apply it with a thin brush or an angle brush. With grease paint it gives you the white color but I find that if your going to wear it all day and it either hot or muggy it will start to slip a bit and get slightly itchy. So unless you want to get itchy I would switch to light concealer and white eyeshadow, white eyeliner. For the nose I use dark eyeshadow to do my contouring and white eyeliner to highlight. If you search up contouring and highlighting it will teach you how to do so and then you can apply it like a manba would. Most gal styles contour and highlight their noses. The color depend on your skin tone.

Re: My Manba Make. Tips?
When highlighting your nose try to go two shades darker than your actual skin tone.
How to contour your nose.
And really dont feel so bad! we all have to start off somewhere. You are getting better as time goes on but pulling off a style like manba takes a lot of practice. Its not only about finding the right way to apply the make-up and the right designs to do but as time goes on you find out what works best for you!
Keep up the hard work and dont let or critiques get you down...remember we just want to help!
