In protein don't forget the fish, I know that fish smells bad but when cooked properly in the right dishes it's wonderful! Nuts have essential fatty acids in (they're good for you) I am a personal fan of Pistachios. With vegetables remember not to cook them for too long because the longer you cook them the less nutritional value they have (which is a bad thing). Also choose foods with a low glycemic index, a low GI food will release glucose more slowly and steadily. A high GI food causes a more rapid rise in blood glucose levels and is suitable for energy recovery after endurance exercise or for a person experiencing hypoglycemia.

Low GI - 55 or less - most fruits and vegetables (except potatoes, watermelon), grainy breads, pasta, legumes/pulses, milk, products extremely low in carbohydrates (fish, eggs, meat, some cheeses, nuts, cooking oil), brown rice

Medium GI - 56 - 69 - whole wheat products, basmati rice, sweet potato, table sugar, most white rices (e.g. jasmine)

High GI - 70 and above - corn flakes, baked potatoes, watermelon, croissants, white bread, extruded breakfast cereals (e.g. Rice Krispies), straight glucose (100)

These are generally used for snacks. Low-calorie snacks are under 100 calories and you can even get ones with chocolate on which are under 100 calories and barely have anything in them. Also drink plenty of water or Skinny Water:

Seriously, it's some good shit!

Next time I get one I'll write down the facts for you, it's something to do with the chemicals in it that speed up weight loss and keep you feeling fuller for longer.

If you eat breakfast, it boosts your metabolism which helps you lose weight faster.

That's the problem if you choose to eat very little to lose weight...
your metabolism will slow down. Which means that when you DO eat a lot,
it will be easier for you to gain more weight.
BUT that is where exercise comes in... it speeds up the metabolism.
Especially aerobic exercise! It generally makes all of your organs work better,
not only your digestive system~

Yeah I know but I think it's psychological! If I eat breakfast I get hungry whereas if I don't I don't get hungry before lunch so I don't bother. It started because I didn't have time before school and it carries on now because I don't get up in time.

Gosh story of my life.

[Going to anyone]
Sometimes I would eat breakfast and sometimes I didn't but most times if I packed my lunch the night before I would give myself snacks to eat through classes. This also depends if the teacher allows you to eat in class and all my teachers did but one.
So that's a way to have breakfast if your on the go or you going to school, pack smaller things to snack on instead of having one big breakfast.

My cousin right now is doing bootcamp 5 days a week at 5am and eating really healthy. This was so she could lose weight to fit into her wedding dress which is a size 10 American which is a size 12 in UK( I hope, I did a conversion so not sure) and now shes and size 4 American and a size 6 UK. So she is now to small for her dress I just wanted to give you a example of over pushing it. Don't worry shes not unhealthy or anything she use to dance 5 times a week so that's how small her body was when she danced.

Yeah dancers tend to me slimmer and woo~p, woo~p size 6! I'm an Irish dancer and have been dancing Ballet and Tap since I was 2, people ask me how I got my legs so toned XD Although for some reason anything below a size 10 (UK) is close to impossible to find in some stores. I'm not too sure about size conversions though.

I agree with what kiri said.
Calories don't matter as much as what is IN the food.
Also another thing for losing weight.
portions.
you have to stop eating when you are satisfied or full and dont just keep eating because you can.
and snacking all day is good too, so that you dont starve yourself and then splurge when you get to eat something.
and I mean healthy snacks. like carrot sticks or wheat crackers and stuff.
my mom used to bring a lunch box out with us when we'd be out for the whole day haha.
it'd have things like cucumbers and crackers and green peppers for snacking on.

Some tips that I've learned (as I'm trying to eat better because my job is physically demanding) when you're eating, chew your food slowly so that you have time to recognize when you're full.
Choose filling foods
Don't eat when you're bored/watching tv/on the computer/eat only at the table
Keep a food journal, write down everything you eat everyday (when you eat breakfast, write down each food item you ate, etc)
Don't exercise right after you eat because it will take longer for your body to digest the food. (Same with taking a shower I've heard)

okay so this is my problem

1) my day is not stuctured enough to eat the same time and the same kinda stuff each day.

2) i live at my boyfriends with his fam and his mum gives me massive portions as obv shes used to feeding her huge boys haha my boyf is 6ft4 weighs around 15 stone and his little bro is 14 and weighs the same but is only about 5 ft 3 Shocked anyhows i dont like being wasteful as its not like theyre well off or anything but i cant say anything cause she'd say im being silly

3) anyhow so at the mo i seem to end up wasting food which i feel bad for. and my final issue is that i have what i call 'chubby asthma' i get asthma when i excersize and only really when i excersize so i cant excersize very long...i went on a run before my holiday and seriously i was already weezing after like 4 mins if that sweatdrop
so annoying. and i got scared the other day cause i was reading take a break or something like that and there was this woman like i always ate whatever like my 6ft something boyfriend and i ended up 32 stone so i was like SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT im going to get so fat if i dont stop eating whatver max eats Sad
hes sucha man bitch though cause he doesnt really help me stop eating bad cause he doesnt think im fat. like the other day i was annoyed with him for something so he was like oh shall i buy you koishii then [japanese takeout where i live] and i was like uhhh why cause it was sunday and i had already eaten a freakin roast!
silly boy bless him seriously hes not a horrid boyfriend but his idea of eating and food is so different from mine.
