okay with your body?

Just a random post, who here is ok with your body right now?
I'm pretty ok with mine, I'm just not proportional (sp?)

I am fine with mine but I used to be very obsessed with loosing weight,
and I would sometimes do less than healthy things in order to lose pounds...
But what surprises me is that lately I haven't been thinking about my body
(by this I mean finding things that are wrong with it).
I am not sure what changed my attitude or how, but my self perception has
changed so much since last year. From starving myself to now not even thinking about
imperfections... I have to say I'm quite happy, yet confused XD
But, whatever the cause I'm glad!
Maybe it was the fact that I got a boyfriend o___o Like when girls get married and let themselves go...?
OH NO XDDDD!!! I hope it's not like that..ahaha~

I'm okay with my body, but I am just that: okay.
I don't wake up and go, "Damn, girl, you're hot!" to myself, ever. xD;

It's mainly because of my "baby-makin'" hips. <3
Because my hips are big (naturally), it off-puts my medium-sized breats, and makes them small. Not only that, but they also make my legs seem fatter. But all-in-all, I have 100% confidence in myself, and I think that I am a beautiful person, with beautiful features. And about my hips, I think EVERYONE has (atleast) one thing that they don't like about themselves, so I'm okay with them, and I will learn to love them.

I feel so different from everyone here O_O;; lol
I have kidney and blood problems and because of this, i had to go on medicine that made me gain weight
at that time i was dating someone that said very ... i dunno what word to use to describe it... i guess MEAN? things. i went from 115 to over 150lbs. He told me that I was fat and needed to lose weight. and I was too blinded by my love for him that i ignored my health and went on terrible methods, developping an eating disorder and then after noticing how thin i was i started eating coz i wasnt satisfied with that. Now I weigh 120lbs, and still feel discomfort with my body, maybe its stupid but i want to feel 100% comfortable T__T;; waaa~

Medicine weight is something very tricky... because it doesn't mean you're necessarily making unhealthy choices about what you eat or your lifestyle, etc so you don't have much control over it... But often times you can talk to your doctor about the medication.
My neighbor actually takes medication that makes her lose a LOT of weight against her will, which is just as bad as gaining it (if not worse)
so her doctor proposed alternatives... there's always alternatives out there ^^

...and it's never good to be unhealthy over love.. I'm guilty >.< BUT I've gotten better.. we all can!

ahh~ T__T;;; I was on like 15 pills a day before. there kinda was NO alternative. it was like 2 different kinds of steroids to fix my kidneys and I stopped taking them without my doctors consent. when i came back to NY, and saw my kidney doctor, i was actually better. lost alot of weight though >__<;;
I guess I'm more comfortable with my body now than I was before. but not by much. everyday i have these family body comparisons (I'm the smallest and shortest in my nearest family --mom, sis, bro, stepdad) my mom is always saying stuff about how i look bad coz i'm too skinny~ etc etc

anyway~ I'm glad not to get super harsh replies about that here! x_x on the road to recovery! >: D lol

Don't you?! I do. In fact, I do it everytime I come across a mirror, no, everytime I see my reflection But jokes aside I am comfortable with my body. The only issues I have with it aren't beauty related but medical related. If I didn't have them I'd be happy with my body -- but my problems aren't nearly as bad as poor, sickly kidneys!

I used to wanna be like, 5'9''.. because I thought being tall meant being pretty,
but that is so not true.
I mean BoA and Tsubasa (and countless others) are TIIIINYYY but they're also really pretty

My brother is 12 also but he's only 4'11'' o.O

my brother is 17 and he's over 6ft
and my sister is 12 and she's like... 5'6"? <-not too sure
