WINTER SKIN SUGGESTIONS
Well girls and guys, it's that time of year again- Autumn has come to Boulder at least, which means winter is not too far away.
But along with the changing leaves and white fluff, is the ever so looming present problem we face time after time again- DRYNESS
you know it's true- you wake up one morning, look in the mirror, and BAM!! You're as white as a sheet, and your hair breaks as soon as you even get a brush NEAR it
the only safe place it seems, is in your tub
what I want to know is what are YOUR remedies to combat winter climate change, and the inevitable dryness that comes with it
(Dramatic enough anyone?
I decided I should have fun with it
)

Re: WINTER SKIN SUGGESTIONS
I'm always as white as a sheet unless I use fake tan
For my skin (which is always dry) I use Garnier's cleansers and toners to remove my make-up as make-up wipes dry the skin out. I moisturise all the time and I use Garnier Skin Naturals Fresh moisturiser. My hair has always been very good quality, it's only just started getting split ends now that it's much longer (my hair goes down to the middle of my back) so I cut any split ends off when I first see them to stop them becoming any bigger, you can also leave conditioner in your hair over night too or leave it in for a few hours.

I use the smallest amount of makeup remover and cleanser I can to keep my face from drying out, and I use Pantene for my hair. I also use some fake tan (jergens ;p) during the winter: I'm naturally tan, but for some reason winter makes me extremely pale.

Re: WINTER SKIN SUGGESTIONS
I used to live near Boulder, so I know exactly what that's like. (Assuming we're talking about the same place lol) Anyway, body butter has been a long time friend because it's thicker than lotion and stays in my skin all day. (I use Burt's Bees whick doesn't get greasy on me) As for my face, my cleansing system is by Lancome, but my moisturizer is by Clinique. I also recently tried an antioxidant cream by Estee Lauder that's quite nice. Hair wise, I use a deep conditioner one a week and my regular shampoo and conditioner as normal.
