Ayaka Ikio

Post  Hikitty on Fri May 01, 2009 8:39 pm

Name: Ayaka Ikio (壱岐尾 彩花)
Birthday: 21st of January
Label: Rainbow Entertainment

Ayaka Ikio is a new artist signed to the Rainbow Entertainment label who I am totally in love with; I love dance tracks with loads of vocoders and heavy beats in, and her debut mini-album offers just this.

Her debut album - "RE: ACID QUEEN" - was released in January of this year and the album's lead single, "Spin Me Round", was a top pick on iTunes Japan's Dance Charts in January. I don't know much about her specifically, as she's relatively new, and any information about her personally hasn't been translated and/or uploaded yet that I can find. I just know that I am addicted to her music and will be following her from now on (I also know she has a cat, a whitish grey one, but that's by the by).

Anyone who likes dance tracks should check her out and give her a go, it's totally worth it;

She's actually a really great artist and a good rep for the gal world! I hope that I can get more of her music because I actually really love her stuff. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!

You're welcome Carmel Smile I'm glad I helped you find a new artist lol Have you managed to find the rest of the album online? Because you might have to pay if you really want it...

Ah you're in luck Smile I happen to have the album in it's entirety. If you want it I'd be more than happy to upload it for you to download and use as you wish. However I only have the .mp3 format, not the .wma files. So you'll need an iPod I think, to be able to listen to them.

Actually you can listen to mp3s with many media players, mp3 files are not solely for ipods, the computers came before the ipods.

Huh, didn't know that. I thought .wma files were what Walkman's used and that things like RealPlayer on the computer used them too. I thought .mp3's were only used by iPod's lol sweatdrop

Walkmans use CDs which have mp3 files on them -_-' Computer geek fact: Real Player used to have viruses on it. Anyway wma. files are just another form of music file that itunes refuses to use because it's not very bright. Ipods are the fussy technology, I really don't know why Apple dislike any other files except mp4 and mp3 files.

Depends how updated your iTunes is; mine can convert .wma files to playable .mp3 files if I try and add them to my library. Although, it only does it to some... sweatdrop

Haha...the files thing is totally out of my realm of understanding. I'm like, computer-challenged.
But I'm pretty sure my Itunes can convert .wma to mp3, at least, I think it does ~

yes itunes can. if they couldn't then we could truly say Apple are dictators about their own technology >>;
Open source FTW- no matter how unreliable every so often, you can find some awesome stuff Very Happy

It does convert them to mp3s therefore the Ipod will not take anything but mp3 files, Apple technology has never been that great. Itunes is killing the music industry anyway and not places like Pirate Bay (if anyone has seen the recent hilarious court proceedings).

I have no clue; I don't read S Cawaii so if anyone does, might as well let us know.
