I don't know, but when I saw this, it was just insulting...
I mean, it was interesting to watch and stuff, but I mean, they basically infultrated someones gal-cir, and just ripped the whole idea and people to shreds, but not actually...
it was pretty underhanded actually.
but IDK, maybe I'm over reacting? what do you think??

I didn't find it overly insulting at all, to be honest. This woman is merely expressing the views of her generation of the gyaru culture; the girls know full well what is thought of them. They don't let it get to them, so I don't think they were that bothered by her. It was a chance to get on television and I don't think they were overly insulted themselves. Also, they had their own fun with her, particularly when they applied foundation to her and laughed at how she applied her false eyelashes later on in the show.
I don't think she quite 'infiltrated' someone's gal-cir either. She was interviewing them, not attempting to become a member. You made it sound as if she decieved her way into the gal-cir as a pretend gal and then betrayed them by ridiculing them to others
If the gals were annoyed with her, they would have asked her to leave them alone.
I think this video is just something to giggle at and not something to become enraged over. The gals weren't insulted, so don't let yourself get insulted for them. I don't think it's something that needs to be bothered so much with. It'd just get you upset if you took people's opinions straight to heart. When I first watched this awhile back, I was laughing along with what she and the gals said because I found it funny. When I read this it was the first time I saw anything potentially insulting in it, so I suppose it depends on what your morals are to how you'll view it lol Just don't let it bother you too much.

eh, now I feel like I was overreacting a bit, but my first reactions was I hate to say it FRUSTRATING ><;
though I had to admit, that girls house was disgusting >>;
but like their makeup bags I thought they were fine!!!
and I carry coins too...
I don't have that many cards though...meh
IDK, maybe it was because I felt like I had/have a lot in common with the girls, I took it to heart....
I'll try not to get bent out of shape about it.

Don't take it to heart, they don't. Plus TV crews are always around the Tokyo gal-cirs and I have watched many of those videos, the leader of the cir is always there and the leader generally protects her cir from any harm. Trust me, some of the leaders in those gal-cirs can get nasty if they feel threatened or that they will be made a fool of in anyway. The leaders usually tell the TV companies directly that if they're wanting to embarrass them or just mess them about then they can go away. The leaders of the cirs are there for a reason, so if they are not insulted and if they're not annoyed then I really don't see why you should be. Plus Japanese gals love attention, if they think you're any kind of TV, modelling agency or any agency or if they sniff the slightest bit of media they will flock to you. They crave attention, if they didn't want it I'm sure they'd say something, after all if they bully the bosozoku then I think they can stick up for themselves.
