Learning Japanese
Okay gals im trying to learn Japanese but i am just wondering would it be easier to start with learning reading and writing japanese script or should i learn speaking first?
does it help to know one before the other?

Learning to speak is easier because it enables you to know what sounds you need to write down, personally I am teaching myself both at the same time. Learning to speak first will make it easier to learn to write.

i say learn the writing first! thats is easier to do~
and thats what i did! but i did it so when i learn
something i can write it too. i don't know the kanji
however, i do know the katakana and hiragana.

I think that if you want to do well in any language, you need to do it like you did when you were a little child. Children learn to speak before they can write, at least I did.

wellll when i was a kid i learnt it all at the same time so i guess ill go for that tactic just wondered if any specific order made it easier thanks for your advice though ill make a start
