pixieromamba91: honestly when have you seen ganguro/old manba use boots like the ones you wear? And to be honest the cordinates you've done aren't really what you call "old school manba". That looks to be like ordinary colorful cordination. Now I'm not saying the clothes aren't gyaru but the way you put them together def aren't. I suggest you try to cordinate it differently, like using flip flops-with/without flowers, flowery accessories and such if you want to be a ganguro.

AiGyaru: don't see much of the gal style but you have def potential. In those pics you look more scene-ish than gyaru. May I suggest something. Trim your eyebrows. I've seen so many girls that dress gyaru and all that but then I look at their eyebrows and go "they are just as important!!!". For japanese gals even such a small thing as eyebrows are very important. Here's few tips on what to do:



H&M sell some cheap eyebrow pencils and eyebrow powders.
And also I think highlighting your nose as bit, lighter color if you're not tanned, would be great. As well as nose shadow. Like these:

If you don't have a highlighter you can always use white eyeshadow, it's not as good but it works=]


Here you can use eyebrow powder.

And nude lips NEVER go out of style,trust me I have yet to see someone that doesn't have nude lips:

2. pink/beige gloss
3. beige lipstick
4. lip gloss

There's no such thing as "harajuku style". Because that "harajuku style" is a everything from gothic lolita to decora. Harajuku is a place teenagers meet to show off their styles, whether it be decora or visual kei.

And Gwen Stefani was the one that made people think that harajuku was actually a style, because of her stupid "harajuku girls" crap.

well because harajuku is a place where those styles "hang out", over the years it has been referred to as a BRANCH of style it self. not a style, but a type. visual kei, oshare kei, decora, lollita, etc. all hang out there, and because i couldn't really depict what style from that area that it looked like to me i just choose to name the place or brach they originate from~
pointing out that it was not really part of the gyaru branch. ^^;
still i think the look is cute~ ^o^~

Ok, first off Tsuyome, you're not gonna be a bitch about constructive criticism, second it's actually really cold where I am, so I can't exactly wear flip flops just yet. I'm trying to keep warm and keep the style, but apparently it's not working. I don't really know what the winter fashion is for Mamba, other than just jeans, colorful shirts and alba rosa jackets, which I really don't own. My summer outfits arm much better, I assure you, and thank you for pointing out my coordinating flaws. I'm kinda on my own here and I'm trying my hardest. Plus I like those boots >_< What's wrong with them, it was raining that day!
