| There seems to be a lot of positive and negative feed back on gyaru wearing full wigs, what is your opinion?
In my case, I don't mind them- depending of course on the wig it self, but if it appears to look some-what natural? Or well, just not fake, then I think there is nothing wrong with them. |

| I love them. I really don't understand the hate.
My hair is like the "Britney Spears," since I practically shaved my head. Soooo, half wigs / clip ins aren't an option, haha.
Besides, I found a really amazing full wig on prettyandcute.com/store for ONLY $40! :3
And with out knowing it was a wig, a ton of people compliment my hair. Even those into the GAL comm. :3 |

| some of the wigs ive seen in magazines are super fake looking. i think its mostly the top part how its so full of the hair that gives it away as a wig. plus the super shiny look. yeah i think exensions are better |

| But you also have to know that there are many different ways to get rid of the shiny-ness. I happen to love drag queens(don't know why) and I watched them take synthetic wigs and make it not look shiny anymore. |

| My opinion is if the wig looks good, then why not wear it? You can hardly accuse someone of cheating and being less Gal just because they're not using their real hair. A good, high-quality wig is the only way some people can even have 'acceptable' gyaru hair, and if they didn't wear one and tried to make do with hair that just cannot manage, people would badger them for it! Or even suggest getting a wig haha :3 |

When you boil curl/straighten them it has a tendency to take the shine away.

| I've been wearing wigs for the past 5 years or so. I don't like handing over control of my hair to myself of a stylist. lol. So I found a nice style and wear only that wig, replacing it when ever i need to. Recently I picked up a wig that screamed 'gal' to me and now my mom is trying to find out where I got it from. | tiny-chan wrote: | | But you also have to know that there are many different ways to get rid of the shiny-ness. I don't get rid of the shininess of mine and people still think its my real hair.
And drag queens are true makeup and hair gurus if you ask me.

Some people like to if its to shiny. I heard pin uses baby powder to get rid of the shine on her wigs.
I love drag queens..... If I weren't a girl I would be guy dressing as a drag queen. |

| I'd TOTALLY wear a wig everday, but then it's like AWKWARD when your friends are like "um are you wearing a wig?" or what if you go out dancing?? |

| I wouldn't find it weird if my friend wore a wig -- so long as it looks natural. If it was a plastic monster I'd have to say something to stop them |

| I love wigs! A few people in the gal community do seem to have a problem with them, for some reason, I can't really think why though. I suppose it might be like someone else said and they think it's "cheating" or whatever. Obviously it's looks dumb if you wear a bad/cheap wig, but you can get some really nice good quality ones for reasonable prices. Wigs are a really easy and quick way for instant perfect gal hair, something that could take hours otherwise. And if you think about how much it costs to get your hair bleached/coloured/cut it actually works out cheaper in the long run. More money for clothes/makeup! |

My town is NOTHING but old people. When I wear my wigs they all call me "that GAGA girl." Haha. I think wigs are a totally cute way (like Hikitty says, if you have the right one) to make yourself look fashionably beautiful. And since gyaru is all about the fake and fabulous, I feel so amazing with my wigs on. My friends always comment on my wigs in a silly way--since they know that I can't live with out them. They are like, "Your hair looks so amazing today, I think it would look better in a pony tail, haha.) KNOWING that a wig would look dumb in any up do. XDD
Haha. ohwell. ;D |

| wigs are totally awesome. i wear them sometimes when i go out. here in my country, people are very conservative about the way girls dress, look, act. i get "those" stares, but i tend to ignore them :3 you can totally choose wigs that aren't fake looking there are cheap ones but they look very synthetic, the real looking ones cost gold ;___; |
