| i really do not look good without make-up on, so everyday before going to school i drag my butt out of bed and in front of my mirror to start painting my face. my makeup kit consist mainly of Maybelline, Ever Bilena and some random Japan products my mom always buys. i’m not really good with makeup before, but somehow i magically survived by watching different tutorials on Youtube, reading a lot of magazines like Cosmopolitan and practicing on my face and on my friends (they survived too.)
i have 4 main styles that i use, depending on what i’m wearing. i don’t do “damn-that’s-awesome-shading-and-coloring-shit” kind of makeup, i just do a simple everyday look because here in the Philippines, people tend to be very expressive about their opinions =))
these photos are taken days/weeks apart, i dunno. somehow i just collected them in one album and noticed the difference on my face =)) 1. Sweet Style - no color on the cheeks
a lot of detail on the lips (pale colors) no eye shadow mascara on upper and lower lashes
2. Cat Style - color on cheeks
medium detail on lips (lip balm or pale colors) defined eyes (eyeliner on upper and lower lids+eye shadow) mascara on upper and lower lashes
3. Bare Style - no color on cheeks
pale lips (concealer+lip gloss) black eyeliner on upper lids, white eyeliner on lower lids mascara on upper and lower lashes
4. Pinched Style - rosy cheeks
a lot of detail on the lips eyeliner on upper lids mascara on lower lashes

| All of these styles can use falsies. Even the more "bare" and "sweet" styles. You can try lashes that are more thin, and long for a sweeter look, then use thick and long ones for a dramatic look. My makeup style? It's more . . . IDK? My vocabulary is really poor. Haha, the truth is, my makeup style is a copycat of Miliyah. XDDD my makeup. (: I need to take photos of myself more often. I always end up sharing my old photos. XDD I've cut my wig, and bought another one that I use more since this photo. XDD |

| sasa.com has Tsubasa Masuwaka's Dolly Wink collection, which gets very positive reviews. I think they sell them for 12.50, and you get two pairs! (: Or than that, you can get some in bulk from e-bay for pretty cheap. But since you were talking quality, I thought the Dolly Wink was a pretty good price for a name-brand. |

Human hair lashes are better if you like a more natural look, or at the very least, synthetic lashes that aren't super-thick, like these:

The ones above are Ballet brand Spice lashes, which you can buy in a 10 pack off eBay for $10.00. I really like this style of lashes myself, because they give length, thickness, and definition all in one lash.
Oh, and an Okarie makeup tutorial, if you'd like one:
