Hi! I´m going to Japan and I really really need new clip in hair extensions so I thought I would buy them from my trip. Has anyone ever bought extensions from Japan? I´d really love to know where to get them and are the prices high? I hope you gals can help me out

The thing with buying them over there is that they're going to have the look and texture of asian hair and unless that's your hair type, it's probably going to look weird (and most likely fake) when you have them in. You may be able to find western hair extentions, but you'll most likely have to go to a pretty high end salon that actually gets westerners coming in and you'll pay an arm and a leg for them. Chances are you'll only get the kind that is sewn in rather than clip on. Even though westerners live in Japan, the demand for extentions is very low, based on the fact that we simply have thicker hair than asians.
