| Hi, does anyone have some tips/expertise to share how to apply gyaru make (that looks good of course) on hooded eyes (my eyes are like ehm, Selma Blair's) cause I have the lips and blush etc. down but to make the make (lol) work for my eyes is sometimes quite frustrating. Thanks in advance! |

This tutorial video isn't strictly gyaru make, but the dark, intense liner that the girl does is very gyaru:

It's hard to say how helpful that tutorial will be without knowing how "hooded" your eyes are, but experiment and see what works for you. False lashes that sweep up above the hooded part of your eyes will work well give them a wider, more open appearance. (Use a lash curler, if necessary, to add more curl.) Luckily, your biggest concern is the top the lash line, so that shouldn't effect how you do your eyeliner and lashes on the bottom. |
